Ingredients
1 cup pumpkin puree
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup oil or melted butter
2 large eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 in (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment.
- In a bowl, whisk pumpkin puree, brown sugar, oil, and 1 egg.
- Add flour, baking powder, spices, and salt; fold gently.
- In a separate bowl, whisk melted chocolate, cocoa powder, sugar, and 1 egg.
- Alternate spoonfuls of pumpkin and chocolate batter into the pan.
- Swirl gently with a knife for a marbled effect.
- Bake 22–25 minutes until just set; cool before cutting.
Notes
Do not overbake for a fudgy texture.
Bars can be stored in an airtight container for 3 days or frozen for 2 months.
